My mission is to provide excellent copy to Christian companies and organizations that are seeking to market their goods and services and to inform believers of their Kingdom priorities

I am a Christian who has been married to my lovely wife for 44 years and a father of two adult sons and grandfather of four children. I hold a Bachelors degree in Social Sciences from Campbell University(1970)and a Masters of Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary(1972). I am an Air Force veteran. I have been a freelance journalist off and on since 1990, focusing mostly on Christian topics, having written dozens of articles for the Charlotte Observer Faith and Values section, the Charlotte Christian News, and the Biblical Recorder, the news journal of the North Carolina Baptist Convention. I have also written a family-friendly screenplay and a musical drama based on the Gospel of John. I keep up with trends and events affecting Christians in the U.S. via conservative and faith-based websites such as the Family Research Council and Dr. Michael A. Brown. . I recently completed the Accelerated Copywriting Progam through AWAI and am currently studying Joshua Boswell's Secrets of Christian Copywriting Program through AWAI My hobbies and interests are reading, movies, travel, hiking, and watching college basketball(favorite team the UNC Tarheels) , the NFL(Carolina Panthers), and professional tennis. I occasionly play doubles tennis in a group on the weekends. I have been a faithful member of two different Baptist churches since 1985, having served as a deacon, choir member, and committee member and have participated in five out-of-state mission trips in the last 10 years. I feel that I can contribute to the mission and goals of Christian- based organizations through clear, concise, and focused writing.
