HDP (Higgy Diggy Productions) is a music production company that focuses on freelance composing for all types of media, produces, and performs for all occasions.
HDP have been performing and writing songs together dating back to the mid 80’s where they formerly were known as Mezzo, a popular, high-energy band that performed in the surrounding Chicago land area.
In 1998 HDP was formed By Hiram J Grigsby Jr. Original members of "Mezzo' Andre Thompson and Devin B. Thompson were added as writers.
HDP adds to their credits, several independent studio albums, performances with well-known artists such as jazz saxophonist Steve Cole, Gospel writer, performing artist, Fred Hammond, and R & B diva Chantay Savage, just to name a few. A number of Television/Radio jingles for V103 Chicago, Caterpillar Tractor Company. Payless Shoes, McDonald’s and DiGiorno Pizza. Studio Credits; performing background vocals for artist R. Kelly’s hit song, “You Saved Me,” and Walt Disney “Holes” sound track and songs for the made for T.V. movie “What About Your Friends-Weekend Getaway, starring Keshia Knight-Pulliam (Rudy from the Cosby Show) and Louis Gossett Jr.
