Heather Dakota is the author of more than 70 books and magazine articles for young readers, as well as adults. She wants to live in a world where everyone loves to read. When she's not writing, she'll be intuitive painting or traveling the world in search of adventure, which fuels her writing. Long ago, she discovered that words have power and get people’s attention. So, from poems to journaling and writing to illustrating, she finds a way to paint a picture with her words.
She has more than 20 years of experience as a writer and editor in the publishing industry. Currently, she is freelance writing and editing for some of the top publishers in the US and abroad.

Projects are quoted on an hourly or flat fee basis.
If I have not had the pleasure of working with you, I require 50% of the fee up front. The final 50% is due upon receipt of the manuscript.
