A copyeditor dedicated to helping writers turn out clean and professional work.

I'm a freelance copyeditor from eastern Oklahoma with an undergraduate degree in professional and technical writing from University of Arkansas Little Rock. I've been a bookworm and a writer since I was a little girl, and I want to turn my passion into a career helping authors perfect their writing.

I edit essays, articles, social media/blog posts, PowerPoint Presentations, and other nonfiction pieces. I'm also open to editing fictional manuscripts. I'm familiar with Chicago Manual of Style and MLA style guides. I am an experienced Microsoft Word user and usually edit documents using track changes. I also have experience with InDesign.

Work Terms

I work flexible hours, usually in the evenings and Sundays. I do not work Friday evenings or Saturdays. I prefer to communicate using e-mail initially and then videochat with authors to discuss their manuscript before beginning work. I can meet over Zoom or Google Meet. Longer projects might need additional meetings to discuss progress.
