I hate finding errors when reading. I promise to go above and beyond when editing any body of work and give 110%.

I am 36 years old and working towards my dream job of writing full time. I am an American recently moved to the United Kingdom. I have a degree in English Literature and I was the Arts and Entertainment Editor for my college newspaper. I have recently taken an online course in proofreading and copyediting and received a completion certificate with a grade of 99%. I worked for Barnes & Noble for 12 years and in that time I created departmental and shelving guidelines, brochures and event materials for book launch and new release parties. I have also been writing twice monthly book reviews for young adult novels on a friend's review blog. Since living in Scotland, I have become very comfortable with British English and some British slang. I love to read and write, so being an editor is the perfect job for me. When reading, it is always aggravating to find errors, they trip me up and take some of the pleasure out of reading. I am looking forward to helping out where needed, so please send me a request if you like what you see.

Work Terms

I am new to this, so we can discuss prices as needed. I do live in the UK, so there is a five hour difference from the east coast of the US and an eight hour difference from the west coast, so that could affect what time I work on any project. For now the best way to get in contact with me will be through guru; if we do agree on terms and work together then it will be easy enough to switch to my personal professional email account.
