Children's Book Illustrator, Designer and Layout Artist

For almost 10 years now, I've been working as an illustrator and designer: 6 of that was done freelance, 3 in magazine publishing (both illustrations and the layout design), and a year in education (as a teacher's assistant and instructional design). My career had been mostly in arts and design steering closely to children and youth-targeted literature.

My dream is to be a book publisher back in my home country: the Philippines. So I can help middle-class and lower-class children stay literate, curious, and ambitious, through books.

I have a lot of hobbies and interests. I love applied science: chemistry in cooking and fermenting food, astronomy, gardening and agriculture, botany and microbiology. I also love karaoke and singing, watching documentaries (historical and real crime are my favorite!), and travelling.

Work Terms

Full-time freelance. Can do work-for-hire, temporary work, or part-time work as well. Works 8am-5pm on weekdays and some Sundays. Prefer to communicate via email or maybe we can do Zoom/Skype calls.
