Communication PhD with varied writing, editing, & PR experience

Hi! So my background is pretty unique: I am a 29 year old university professor, blogger, freelance journalist, and creative writer. I have a PhD from Penn's Annenberg School for Communication, where I conducted research, wrote extensively, and helped teach classes on culture, communication, marketing, and media systems. When not teaching, I work on my impending comedic web series and engaging in other writerly projects. Around the internets you can find my musings on popular culture, music, fashion, television, and random happenings. I've contributed to blogs such Thought Catalog, SoundSlam, and Televisual, as well as local newspapers and academic journals. I can write anything: PR pitches, business and grant proposals, fictional stories, blog posts, website and advertisement copy.
