Not too long ago, I was a Research Engineer. I worked on Hybrid Vehicle Technology, on motors and converts, and had the option of taking that further. But after some deliberation, I realized that I was much better suited to programming, and it was better suited for me.
So I began learning as much as I could about Web Development, and I have come pretty far. I'm more than comfortable with the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and have begun learning more advanced concepts. I also use Node.js quite often and am familiar with a number of its packages. I've built many projects with these technologies, but I'm always looking to improve.
On a personal level, I have been playing Softball for some time. This season I'm aiming for an out of the park home run, but I'm not quite there. I also play guitar; a bit of rock, but I've been leaning towards blues and folk, it makes for some good listening music. It's works well to take my mind off my work while softball gives me a good excuse to get some exercise.
