With over 13 years of experience in Java development, I specialize in Swing, JavaFX, Git, JIRA, JUnit, databases, build automation, and Spring.

Some of my notable projects include developing a real-time analytics engine for PureGTO, a leading poker training framework. This engine analyzes player data and provides personalized coaching to help players to improve their game. I had the opportunity to work with a high quality codebase and received training and coaching from industry-leading, principal-level engineers.

This experience allowed me to develop expertise in various areas, such as functional programming, behavior-driven testing, immutable patterns, object-oriented design, distributed architecture design with terabyte-scale databases, Flux UI design framework, SOLID principles, and domain-driven design programming practices.

My work at PureGTO also involved writing Java code in BDD style, working with statistics and math, understanding game theory, developing back-end services via REST, and integrating with high-performance Rust applications. The stack I worked with included Java, JavaFX, Spring, Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and Docker.

Another project I worked on is Collect Desktop, a software application that interfaces with the Neo-spectra Scanner, bringing lab-grade material analysis to the production line or field. This technology is used in a wide range of production areas, including flour milling, animal feed, forages, oil-seed processing, pet food, dairy products, food ingredients, textiles, and plastics.
