A lifelong musician, Hisham first embraced the music business in 2010 with the legendary DJ Shadow working on marketing and merchandise operations. Throughout his college studies, he's worked in various capacities of the music business, from journalism to digital distribution – all in hopes of getting the most holistic perspective of the industry possible.
During that time, Hisham worked closely with Marriott International to successfully create new ways that Elite and VIP guests intimately experienced the brand – from their check-in emails upon arrival, all the way to their exit experience. However, with a keen desire to continue his music & entertainment industry pursuits, Hisham reunited with Michael Fiebach of DJ Shadow to help launch Fame House in 2011.
Fame House quickly became a rapidly expanding global agency with a modern approach to digital marketing and merchandising – helping artists and entertainers manage and capitalize on their digital presence, connecting with fans through highly unique campaigns (many featured as industry case studies by Rolling Stone, MTV, TechCrunch, MusicAlly, Hypebot and more). The client roster grew to include artists like Eminem, Tiësto, Pearl Jam, Ice Cube and many others. In 2013 Fame House was acquired by a leading network of event producers, globally touring festivals, and digital music communities. Today, the roster has expanded well beyond artists to include more products and brands.
From the office to the recording studio, Hisham wholeheartedly remains an active musician – drumming for several projects and composing his own music. When not knee deep in music, he's likely found skateboarding the streets of Los Angeles or utterly consumed with professional wrestling.
