Professional Writing and Editing Services for Authors and Content Creators

I am a writer and editor with a passion for storytelling and writing for children. I have an MA in Writing for Children from the University of Winchester, and I previously studied at the University of Reading. I produce and host the Active Voice podcast series interviewing published authors on their writing experiences and processes. My own work experience focuses on fiction writing but I have also written a few non-fiction articles and blog posts. I worked for Entangled Publishing reviewing submitted novels and completing quality assurance for novels close to publication. I'm a paid writer for the Dreame story sharing app, writing romance novellas and short stories. I have also written articles for political campaign groups. In my spare time I volunteer for The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.

Specialising in creative writing and the publishing process I have fantastic skills in structural and developmental editing where I look at the big picture of a completed manuscript. This form of editing is about shaping the overall story in order to make it clear and engaging for the target audience. I also have a keen eye for detail which makes me an excellent editor and proofreader. I'm a content creator having created my own podcast series and written a number of articles as well.
