Data analytics and insights professional
Throughout a 6 years streak as a consumer insights professional, I have developed a passion for understanding consumer aspirations, behavior and decision-making process through market research and data analytics/visualization techniques.
I have graduated from American University in Cairo majoring in Engineering with a minor in Economics. Having worked for both sides, i.e. research agencies and clients, I have developed an unmatched understanding of the customer perspective, particularly in the technology and telecom sectors. These clients include, but not limited to, Samsung, Vodafone, Uber and Huawei. Then, I joined Orange where I manage key research studies involving survey design, arrangement with the research agencies, data analysis till reporting to the management.
My specialties encompass survey design, data analysis/visualization (using Excel, Tableau, Python pandas, numpy, matplotlib,; seaborn, and so forth), and web scraping (using Python) to uncover meaningful insights, as well as presentable for different audiences, veterans and senior management . In addition, I am still venturing through my learning journey by undertaking more advanced analytics techniques. This includes advanced Python modules and R statistical analysis and text analytics. I mainly rely on top-notch education institutions, the likes of Google, Udacity and edX, through-which I managed to earn several certificates in the past few years. And certainly, there is yet more to learn.
