Work Terms for Proofreading Services
Introduction
These terms outline the agreement between the Client and Henry Thomas (the Freelancer) for the provision of proofreading services. By engaging in these services, the Client agrees to the following terms and conditions.
Services Provided
The Freelancer will provide proofreading services to correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, and formatting errors. Advanced proofreading services may include style consistency, fact-checking, terminology checks, and language polishing as specified in the initial consultation.
Turnaround Time
The standard turnaround time for proofreading services depends on the document's length and complexity. An estimated completion date will be provided after the initial review of the document.
Rush services are available upon request and subject to an additional fee.
Pricing and Payment
Pricing is based on the word count, complexity, and specific requirements of the document. A detailed quote will be provided after the initial consultation and document review.
A deposit of 50% of the quoted price is required upfront before work begins. The remaining balance is due upon completion and delivery of the final document.
Payments can be made via bank transfer, PayPal, or other agreed-upon methods. Invoices are payable within 14 days of receipt.
Revisions and Feedback
The Client is entitled to one round of revisions included in the quoted price. Additional revisions may incur extra charges.
All feedback and requests for revisions must be provided within 14 days of receiving the proofread document.
Confidentiality
The Freelancer agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all documents and will not disclose any information to third parties without the Client's explicit consent.
Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time with written notice. If the Client terminates the agreement, the deposit is non-refundable. If the Freelancer terminates the agreement, the Client will receive
