Reader, writer, coder and app developer living in beautiful Portland, OR.
In my first life, I was a marine ecologist, studying seabirds around the North Pacific. As great as living on little rocky islands among great flocks of birds can be in your twenties, I was getting too old for it, so I transitioned into web development instead. But I've always been a writer at heart. I have written stories since I was a child, and have recently been published in genre markets like Daily Science Fiction and Plasma Frequency. I was the editor of an online market called Nine for about a year, and currently work as the editor and founder of QuarterReads, a marketplace for buying and selling short writing.
Work Terms
I work part-time on QuarterReads, as well as a few other projects, and so I am only here for more part-time work. I am looking for about 10-15 hours/week of editing, proofreading or code review work, spread throughout the week.
