Simply Creative
My name is Ibrahim For more than 13 years, I’ve been helping large-scale non-profits, companies, and governments in the Middle East deliver their messages to audiences in both Arabic and English. From websites and social media to print publications and events, I’ve worked as an editor and translator across different multimedia platforms, using a creative lens to produce content that natively resonates with the target audiences.
I have a keen eye for content strategy, especially when it comes to projects targeting a Middle Eastern audience, and have led teams of journalists, researchers, translators, and designers to produce some excellent content over the past few years.
In terms of organizations, I’ve been working for Qatar Foundation—one of the Middle East’s largest non-profits—for over a decade. The organization hosts more than 60 entities, schools, and international universities, and I have worked with the majority of those that are part of Qatar Foundation.
My work experiences equipped me with a high-level of cultural sensitivity and awareness, and consistently demands a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and performance. I am able to navigate such complexities and maintain standards because my translation experience is extensive. I transcreate projects to suit the precise needs and cultural contexts of the audience using cultural dialects, as needed, for the Arab Gulf countries, the Levantine region, and North Africa. Aside from the digital projects I manage on a daily basis, I have also translated six books, an encyclopaedia, and dozens of newsletters and magazines.
