I have been writing screenplays for about 20 years. I studied film production at Ryerson Polytechnical University in Toronto, Ontario and also studied acting for 3 years at The New School of Drama in Toronto with Tony Pearce who was a graduate from The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City.
I have worked as an actor and a film editor since that time.
In 2009 , my feature length screenplay "Concession Road" finished as a semi-finalist in The Nicholls' Fellowship, finishing better than the top 2% of 6,380 screenplays in the competition.
In 2010, "Concession Road" finished as a 3rd round qualifier in The British Feature Length Screenplay Competition.
In 2012, "Concession Road" again finished as a semi-finalist in The Nicholls' Fellowship amongst 7,189 screenplays.
"Concession Road" has now been optioned.
Due to my placement in The Nicholls' Fellowship, I was a writer-for-hire for the feature length screenplay "Love Lies Bleeding" for Nassar Entertainment in Los Angeles.
