Ingrid Carlsson is a freelance business writer, who has a BA English and Hotel Management from University of Rhodesia. With more than 30 years’ in the business arena, Ingrid has a wealth of skills and experience in writing project management and budget proposal documents. Listed among her clients are Global Food Services, where not only did Ingrid put together documentation relating to large feeding schemes for refugee camps, but she also managed the operational start up for projects. Ingrid has worked with large mining houses such as Anglo American and Rand Mines, government and non-government agencies and private companies. Ingrid lists her most important skill as being able take the work for each of her clients as though she was part of their company and she puts in as much time and effort as they would to get the job done well.
In addition, Ingrid has worked in the hotel and travel industry, where she also held the portfolio of Travel and Tourism Representative for the Cape Hotels and Travel Industry in South Africa. She has experience with PR, Advertising, and Marketing for hospitality service and retail, including industrial catering and cleaning contracts. She is fully aware of the value of excellent copy writing to enhance ROI and continues to study the experts to further her knowledge and skill base.
More recently, Ingrid has been involved in writing business proposals for mining and agricultural projects in southern Africa. She is a keen follower of world economic and political affairs.

Work Terms

I am willing to work for fair and reasonable rates and I will work weekends to get a task completed.
I would prefer to personally discuss on an individual basis, with each "client", the remuneration rates, rather than have a blanket hourly or per word rate.
