The company was founded in 1993 at the suggestion of my Harvard Business School marketing professor who served on the board of my previous company.He was prescient by predicting that we would have more competition form China, increasing environmental concerns and that my major competitors like GE, Bayer and Sylvania would be buying my major customers. On that advice, I sold that company. We had been listed on NASDAQ and the stock ran from $3 to $58 per share and split so I was able to create wealth for my shareholders. He suggested that we form a company to advise clients on marketing and sales, intellectual property, licensing, joint ventures and staying out of the minefields.
