Through my reliable, timely and precise translation services my goal is to help you connect to your German audience or client.
After my graduation I traveled and worked in Australia for a year to get to know the culture and practice my English. After returning to Germany, I studied Tourism and Event Management. During my studies I visited Business English classes and interned with two renown Airlines in Marketing and Corporate Communications, one of which took place in New York. Both internships allowed me to use my English skills e.g. in translation tasks, as well as working with my mother tongue German in a Marketing context. In addition to that I spent a semester abroad in France, with all classes and exams in English. During this time I also made a rather personal connection to the English language, meeting my American husband. Due to this connection I spent a lot of time in the past years in the US, where I now live. During and after my studies I worked as a flight attendant for Lufthansa. This gave me the opportunity to work on my English on a daily basis and introduce me to other cultures. Furthermore, it showed me the importance of language in connecting with people. To further develope myself, I then started to work in Marketing for an international hotel chain in Germany. I was confronted with English on a daily basis and translated e.g. websites, restaurant menus, marketing material and contracts. Perfect German language skills were obviously necessary as well to produce and proof-read marketing material. Now, I want to take it a step further and make my passion for language my job.
My interests are the Airline and Hotel Industry, Tourism and Traveling, Marketing, History and Event Management (weddings in particular). I am open towards new topics as well.
