I see a lot in common between geoscience and data analysis, both are about searching for, analyzing and integrating puzzle pieces to solve problems and come up with recommendations.

In geoscience arena, I proved a successful track-record of pre-drill predictions, bringing success and increased productivity. Hence, I am looking forward to redo it again as a Data analyst.
