ITelSib offers the following outsourcing business models:
a) Time and Materials
b) Offshore Development Center
c) Fixed Price
The “Time and Material” means that ITelSib receives specifications and tasks from the customer, fulfills them in accordance with the project plan, submits deliverables for acceptance by the customer, reports spent hours weekly and sends invoices monthly in accordance with the spent hours.
The “Offshore Development Center” means that ITelSib assigns a team of software engineers who do not work on any other tasks except those assigned by the customer. The customer in turn will provide ODC with task assignments in the volume necessary for fully loading all ODC developers (40 hours per person each week) and pay for all these hours as well as extra hours spent by the ODC developers.
The “Fixed Price” model means that the customer provides ITelSib with a project specification, based on which ITelSib makes an estimation of project efforts and its cost and prepares a technical proposal for the customer. If the customer is satisfied with the cost and target dates, then the customer and ITelSib sign a contract and ITelSib starts the project. Requests for changes may cause project efforts re-estimation and changing of the price and target dates.
Each model above involves acceptance by the customer, a 1-month bug-fixing period without extra charge, the appointment of a responsible project manager, sending weekly reports on the project status (MS Project format or any other defined by the customer), and immediate fixing of critical defects.
