I love writing and everything about it. After doing it for fun for several years, including writing six novels, I've moved into full-time professional writing. My primary focus is creative writing for video games, and I've been contracted by several companies to write dialogue and story for them.I am a grammar Nazi as well. This sometimes hinders my writing because I'll stop and analyze every word before moving onto the next, but it makes me an incredible editor. I can spot comma splices from a mile away, fix awkward prose, and polish even the most shoddy writing into something you can be proud of.When I don't have contracts open for creative writing, I will either be copywriting or transcribing. I am a government-contracted transcriber, often completing audio files for the Social Security Administration, Department of Justice, U.S. Marshals, and so on.See my résumé for a sample of my work history and to get a better idea of who I am!
I generally work between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Central Time. My most open day is Monday, while my busiest is Sunday. My rates range from $30/hour for creative content to $50/hour for analytical writing. For editing, my rate is nearly always $40/hour.Communication is generally preferred straight through my email.
