A construction management professional that has worked in all roles of residential remodeling/construction and commercial TI. I am here to help you close gaps and improve your business!
Construction is my focus, have always been involved and interested in it since being able to enter the work force. I got my start as a low-level carpenter on a custom framing crew for residential new construction. I quickly progressed into a leadership role and excelled at a young age running a small crew. I eventually stepped into the remodeling world and took on a hybrid role of Sales & Project Manager. From start to finish, I was responsible for running the entire "Replacement" division of a full-service remodeling firm. This consisted of all roofing, siding, windows/doors, painting, deck construction, flooring, etc. After successfully doing this for 3 years, I was then asked to step up to the next level and be the Project Manager overseeing all of our "Design/Build" projects. At almost 2 years into this, I married my now wife and we decided we wanted to take some time to travel and experience life outside of Central Virginia. I took a reduced role for the company I was with and worked remotely as an Estimator while we took to the road. Along the way I have managed to make some good connections and developed my own independent consulting business where I have been able to connect with business owners that need help bridging the gap between sales and production, or writing good proposals, performing material take-offs, helping simplify their estimating process, etc... any and everything that makes a construction business tick - I have pretty much dabbled in it and can help take it off your plate so you can focus on moving forward and not on hiring/training a new employee.
Work Terms
I am flexible and am willing to negotiate payment rates, hours per week, etc. I do have other clients but likely can dedicate roughly 10-15 hours per week with new client(s) and on new/independent projects.
