I'm a software developer with a Masters in Physics who has been surfing the interface between science and programming my entire career. I've worked on numerous NASA projects, NOAA projects, and commercial photogrammetry packages, so I know my way around scientific and mathematical processing. I love to architect systems using object-oriented methodologies and employing multithreading and parallelism. Lately, I've been enjoying using graph databases as part of the systems I develop. I also enjoy troubleshooting and debugging existing software packages. I've figured out elegant work-arounds for system bugs and design flaws many times over the years. I'm comfortable with both high-level coding and assembly language.
Work Terms
I have a day job, so my work will be nights and weekends. I am flexible on payment terms, but I prefer to be paid on delivery of increments of working software.
