I am a versatile writer capable of generating quality copy in a variety of tones and voices. I have a really unique range of experiences as a writer. I possess a degree in English Literature from the University of Portsmouth; I am currently a film writer for the award winning Irish pop culture blog Headstuff; I wrote news and opinion pieces for the UK combat sports magazine FSM for 18 months from 2018-19; I have my own blog, www.footballvsoblivion.com, in which I conduct long form interviews with interesting people connected to the soccer world; and, finally, I have copywriting experience on a wealth of subjects, from children’s toys to burger restaurants.
What does all this add up to? Well, I think it shows I have a natural curiosity for a broad range of subjects and am capable of communicating that through my writing, that I know the value of professionalism and can confidently produce copy to deadline, and that I am similarly at ease with serious, academic work, as well as lighter, more accessible pieces. I’m an energetic, enthusiastic person, and look forward to sinking my teeth into whatever you have to offer.
