"Solitude matters, and for some people, it's the air they breathe" - Susan Cain
Ever since I was a kid, writing has already been my passion. I was 15 when I finished my first novel and the feeling that I felt that day is still fresh on my mind. I swore to myself that someday I will work as writer. Well guess what? I never did.
After 3 years, I started working as an Administrative Assistant at our State University. I handled research papers, project proposals, Memorandum of agreement, reports and I thought "Well this is a new kind of writing - but at least it's still writing." My passion for writing started to ablaze again and once more I swore to myself that I will stay here and write but like an ill-fated circumstances, my supervisor retired from her position and so I had to leave.
Shortly after, I started to work as a customer service representative. No writing at all, just talking and helping customers in need. I was perplexed! I still wanted to write but I also learned to love extending a helping hand to customers in need. And so it was decided, I will be both. The convenience of being at home and enjoying solitude is just a bonus.
When I'm not working, I could be found in our University performing in theater and/or reading books somewhere quiet.
