A recent university graduate, who's eager to diversify his design portfolio.
First and foremost, I am a graduate of California State University - Sacramento. My intentions of joining the Guru freelance network is twofold: To utilize a means to accelerate and diversify my design portfolio; to provide a service that I absolutely love (mechanical engineering, and design assistance) to those that are in need.
While attending Sac State, I participated in two on-campus race car teams (Hornet Racing Baja S.A.E., and Hornet Racing Formula S.A.E.), in which both teams competed nationwide in collegiate design competitions conducted and held by the Society of Automotive Engineers. With the Baja team, I was responsible for front suspension design, as well as assisting with design considerations for both the chassis and the drive train. However, while I was a member of the Formula S.A.E. team, I was the design lead of the cooling system: The role of being the lead of the cooling system demanded a tremendous amount of attention to detail, since programs suited for computational fluid dynamics and flow simulations were used for system design considerations, as well as utilizing finite element analysis for component design optimization.
I am also a Certified SolidWorks Associate
