I'm a Christian writer and minister. My roles include lots of prayer, as well as teaching, preaching, ministering healing, and working with children and youth. My writing intersects my ministry in many ways. One of my favorite intersections is writing interactive curriculum, project guides and study/discussion guides for adults and youth.
If the Lord is leading you to share an idea, an experience, your life story; if you have a book, magazine, video, teaching outline; if you feel led to start speaking, writing, leading a Bible study; I would love to come alongside and create study guides, hands-on projects or curriculum to get folks involved with your message.
Through 20 years of teaching and writing, I've learned how to engage each person in a way that speaks to him or her. I'm able to hear your voice, your passion, your message ... and help readers discover their excitement at what you are sharing. I'm excited to bring my passion for people and writing to your project.
Work Terms
I'm available by phone, text, email, or Skype. Because I'm in ministry and serve on Sundays, my Sabbath day off is Friday; I don't work or take calls/messages on that day. I'm available on all other days, and the times depend on my appointments for the week. I only take on one freelance writing project at a time, and will devote my full attention to your project, scheduling the time needed to hear your heart and vision, to outline the project to your satisfaction, and to write, review and edit. I work only through the Guru escrow payment system. My rate is $65 per hour. Once I understand your vision and the kinds of materials you'd like me to produce, I can give you an estimate. A study or project guide can take 10-20 hours on average. A fully written curriculum can take 80-100 hours, depending on the scope.
