Fast, accurate and unique healthcare and medical articles for your website or newsletter.
I have enjoyed writing since I was young and have had extensive non-fiction writing experience through my profession as an occupational therapist. In 2008 I began writing articles related to multiple sclerosis as a part of a volunteer project. I expanded this writing to include informative articles about arthritis. In 2013 I began freelance writing professionally. Since this time I have published numerous articles online, both as myself and as a ghost writer, for a variety of healthcare related topics. Some of my specialty areas include occupational therapy, multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions, various forms of arthritis, autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), special education, and information for caregivers.
My hobbies revolve around my strong interest in history. I appreciate antiques and collectibles. I have a large collection of pin back buttons and smaller collections of dolls and assorted antiques. I have also helped my husband expand his collection of O Gauge model trains. I am also an amateur genealogist and have spent many hours researching my family history, as well as the histories of my husband and children. I enjoy writing about these topics and can draw on my experiences when I do so.
I live in the upper Midwest with my husband. We have three adult children.
Work Terms
I prefer to communicate via email. I do work full time as an occupational therapist so I typically write evenings and Saturdays. I have more flexible hours during the summer.
