I love working in that space between development, sales, and marketing, bringing all three groups together to ensure products meet the needs of customers and deliver the expected revenue.
I started off in development, eventually managing software development teams. At one point in my career, the company I was with purchased some technology from China. Our CTO asked that I own the product - understand the market, how we differed from competitors, how we could sell it and make a profit, and what we needed to do internally to refine the product. I absolutely loved it and have worked in that space ever since!
Work Terms
I prefer fixed-fee arrangements to ensure that we are both happy with the results of a project. This is especially true with mentorship opportunities.
