Executive/Admin Assistant
I started working when I was 18 years old in the BPO industry. I landed first as a sales and billing representative in a Telco account. Years after that, I got designated to be part of the Escalation team in that same campaign. I stayed for years there too when I tried to ladder up myself and tried becoming a Quality Assurance in a healthcare account. I stayed in that campaign and position for 4 years when I challenged myself to try being a Team Manager/Team Leader as I loved conversing with diverse people every day. With my luck, I passed the interview and was able to handle 15 to 20 agents in every batch in healthcare, financial and retail accounts. I was able to hone my career so much in this company that I am so grateful for the 10 long years of stay. The pandemic came and that made me convince going out of my comfort zone and not risk the safety of my family, I tried being a virtual assistant early last year. I became an Executive Assistant in a real estate account, but it didn't last because the company decided to change my designation from full to part-time. My next VA job is as an appointment setter and doing most of the admin tasks (interviewing VAs, interviewing BLS CPR instructors, managing payroll, etc.), but with no luck, the company decided to cease the operation due to unforeseen circumstances. In that year of experience as a VA, I know I am ready to take on a new challenge and I wanted to replicate all the best practices I have with my previous companies.
