Recently widowed and looking for freelance writing jobs
I was raised in the south, Mississippi and Louisiana, moved to Montana, met my husband online when the internet was a baby, long before dating sites existed, and moved to AriDzona to marry him 19 years ago. We expected 60 years together but were granted only 18.
I started writing when I was about 10 years old and have written everything from blog articles to real estate based articles in a Louisiana newspaper. I write, research articles I'm writing and think about the million things I want to write about next on a daily basis.
I live on a 3 acre horse farm in the desert outside Phoenix, AZ. Here I raise and train miniature horses, garden, build furniture and home decor items from reclaimed materials, work my way through grief, and learn how to operate and maintain a 1957 tractor. Since my handyman passed in 2013, I have had to take over every thing from drywall to plumbing repairs. Soon I will have to learn how to tile floors and pour concrete. I write about all these things.
My writing style is easily read, informative and adaptable. I have written straight informative articles about local businesses, politics, charitable causes, and real-estate. I am able to inject comedy or drama into an article and can use both to good effect in the same blog post or article.
