JP Modelworks grew out of an early passion for model building (I started at 2 1/2 years old carving out wood airplanes) and has become a model making company that combines classic model making techniques with new innovations that result in the highest quality models expertly constructed with great attention to detail, fit and finish.

Schooled in Mechanical Design Technology at Wentworth Institute, Boston and Product Design at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, JP Modelworks is committed to providing museum quality models, prototypes and miniatures to the discerning client.

Each model is a one of a kind unique work of art and crafted for the hobbyist or serious collector.

Work Terms

For commissions and custom build ups, once the cost of the build is agreed upon, a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required. This must be paid by Postal or Bank MONEY ORDER.

After paying the 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit, you are bound and agree to the terms of this agreement.

All finished models are shipped USPS/insured for the appropriate value. Packing and shipping charges are NOT included in the quoted price. These have to be figured in after the model is ready to ship as we can't determine the cost of packing and shipping up front.

SHIPPING COSTS FOR BUILT UP MODELS WILL VARY DEPENDING ON SIZE AND WEIGHT .
I HAVE FOUND THESE COSTS RANGE BETWEEN $75.00-$100.00 FOR USPS OR UPS SHIPPING . THESE COSTS INCLUDE THE HANDLING (BOXING OF THE MODEL), SHIPPING COSTS AND NECESSARY INSURANCE FOR THE VALUE OF THE MODEL.
