Development done right!
I attended Oregon Institute of Technology for Software Engineering where we learned on C++ and C#. I have spent 3-4 years off and on building websites and a couple years with Excel VBA and PowerShell scripts, but most of my professional experience is with MS SQL (Complex queries, Stored Procedures, ETL development, SSRS development, index creation, Stored procedures, etc... ).
I have been living in Central Oregon since I was 5, and I am happy to raise my 4 kids here also! My two favorite hobbies are soccer and Board games--yes, I am a nerd :)
Work Terms
Hours:
I am pretty flexible as far as hours are concerned. I don't mind staying up late or getting up early, but the reason I am a contractor is because I like spending time with my children so I will only work 10-12 hours a day (if requested for a couple days to push important work out) before i will push back.
Communication:
I prefer to have meetings done via something like GoToMeeting where screen sharing can be performed. For smaller issues in-guru messaging is good for back and fourth communication. However, if something is needed right away, I am OK with a text to my phone every once in a while.
