About

One man team delivering complex web apps you'd expect from a large team!

I am very active in several open source projects, most notably a Ruby on Rails app that generates rich web pages with markdown documents called Markdown.Design. I also have some experience with Android development and cross-platform audio software development in C++ using the JUCE framework.

I'm mostly self-taught in Ruby on Rails, Javascript with jQuery, C++, Heroku, Linux terminal and Bash scripting. I also have formal training including a web dev bootcamp, a course on Java and C++ certification.

As a former music teacher I'm passionate about continuous learning and sharing knowledge. I've used my web development skill as well as my markdown.design app to generate my own website which I use to host my own notes on Ruby on Rails and Bootstrap

Work Terms

I typically charge around $45/hr and give an estimate of the number of hours for a project once it's been specified.
