My greatest passion is education. In my career as an English teacher and eLearning developer it has always driven me to experiment with novel approaches to teaching and keep up to date with cutting edge research in the fields of pedagogy and learning. Nowadays, that means finding the optimal ways to use technology in my classes. My primary goal is to develop online courses and deliver classes that show this vision clearly and are of highest quality.
I became a freelancer because I realized it offers a plethora of opportunities for finding creative and challenging work. Also, I enjoy and perform best when working independently. I have taught English for 7+ years and in the last 3 years I have given online classes that combine various learning platforms and self-designed interactive and dynamic activities. Over the last year, I have also worked as an eLearning Developer for an international IT company specializing in finance software. In this position I developed advanced skills of using Adobe Captivate, Moodle, as well as writing scripts, designing complete courses and creating visual objects (images and animations) to be used in Adobe Captivate.
I studied Second Language Education at the University of Cambridge and am currently doing a PhD in Technology in Education. Any post that I am hired for is an opportunity for me to get new insights into how people learn, which motivates me to deliver high quality work. Therefore, do not hesitate to contact me for any project you might be needing professional assistance with.
