Editing is a work of art to create a larger masterpiece

Hello creative writers! I'm Jena, I have a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing with a minor in British Literature. I have worked with several organizations with Queens University to support and promote the writing community through readings and fundraisers. My poem, "Compelling Reasons", was published in the 2016 edition of the university's "Signet".
During my time in college, I was a writer and co-editor for The Odyssey at Queens. I wrote weekly short entries for “The Odyssey,” with a range of topics and themes. As co-editor, edited and proofread other students’ pieces they have submitted. The pieces ranged from brief lists to 500-word essays on current topics.
I have also worked with the homeless community, through Speak Up Magazine, in Charlotte by publishing their stories in a magazine to be sold around Charlotte. At Speak Up, I also edited several online pieces and taught a poetry class.
I am familiar with APA, MLA, and Chicago Manual styles. I am also highly advanced with Word, Prezi, PowerPoint, and Excel.

After 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Available all day Saturday and Sunday.
