I specialize in plain English proofreading of various documents and content from business, to online content, to books. My job is to be the last set of eyes to read over your document before it is printed or posted to your audience to ensure that your writing looks and sounds smooth. My eye is trained to pick up those pesky spelling and grammar errors. Simple errors turn off your reader and appear unprofessional. Having a proofreader is especially important because when proofreading your own work, you are guaranteed to miss errors that another set of eyes (mine!) will quickly pick up.

As a proofreader, I will read your document, find the errors, mark the errors, and return your document to you. It is important to note that I am NOT an editor and I do not provide editing services. If you’re looking for someone to help you rewrite or restructure a piece of writing, I am not that person. A well-trained and precise proofreader knows that it is a dangerous business to attempt to engage in editing and proofreading at the same time. My focus needs to solely be on finding grammar and spelling errors to make your writing clean and precise.
