Give me the task. I'll give you the words.
I was raised by writers. It's in my blood.
And while I may not have an overpriced degree to speak of, I still have accolades to mention. Ones that paid me because of my skill, and not the other way around.
An old school writer, I want people to fall in love with words again. Words are the most important part of a written piece of work. So, I don't "dumb down" my writing to conform to modern ideas that we should write at a third-grade level.
*I placed in the top percentile for the Academy Nicholl Fellowship, in 2015.
*I was awarded several prizes for my Treatments, Short Scripts, Short Stories, and concepts from Scripped, in its original incarnation of screenplay writing, before it was a freelance marketplace now called Scripted. (Not to be confused with Scriptd)
* For the last eight years I have assisted a prestigious Japanese Professor of English with writing, transcribing, research, etc...
* I love it. I simply love writing and I'm always looking for new reasons to write and for new challenges to fulfill.
* I am also on my way to being proficient in Japanese.
I would love to tackle any task and I welcome opportunities to learn outside of my realm of knowledge.
Work Terms
I spend the majority of my free time writing and studying. I welcome any opportunity and am able to meet most reasonable deadlines.
