For the last 12 years, I have worked for a non-profit supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position requires dedication, attention to detail, creativity and innovative thought. As a program manager, I routinely rely on my communication skills to interact with members of the community, government entities, provider agencies and members of leadership to advocate for the individuals in my care. I am a proven leader for my organization, having transformed two separate programs into successes that now serve as role models for other departments. I am well versed in the disability community and rely on my advanced writing skills to further my advocacy efforts.

When I'm not at work, I am caring for my family. When I have free time, I spend it reading. I recently finished my Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership which provided me with the opportunity to utilize various styles of writing. My favorite is creative writing, but I have experience writing research papers, opinion pieces and subject matter expert papers.

Work Terms

I am available Monday-Friday, 5pm to 9pm and Saturdays & Sundays 9am to 2pm.
My rates start at $15 an hour, but I am willing to negotiate. I request 50% deposit to begin work with full payment due at time of delivery. My preferred form of communication is via email: jhisey0315@gmail.com.
