Paralegal Graduate Is Ready To Help Find Answers To Legal Questions.
I am a paralegal graduate who is passionate about the law. I have gained the skills, knowledge and confidence necessary to help you with your legal research needs. I understand what it means to work hard, and I have had to work hard most of my life to achieve my goals. When I was a child, I was also diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, but my physical limitations will not hinder me from becoming a valuable team player in helping you in your research quest. My coursework, along with a former internship in 2012-2013 with an amazing attorney, Ms. Carey Ewing J.D., have given me my knowledge of Family, Civil Litigation, Medical Malpractice, Criminal, Estate and Tort Law. I am experienced in researching case, common, and enacted laws. I was also very fortunate to have a one year internship with Legal Aid of North Carolina in 2011-2012. My duties at Legal Aid ranged from helping with Domestic Violence cases, to assisting in Family Law and Estate matters.
I am knowledgeable in the use of MS, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, Westlaw, and Lexis-Nexis.
I am interested in working in Family, Disability, Personal Injury, Criminal, and Estate Law matters. I am also interested in Civil Litigation. I am also passionate about rights concerning people with disabilities, women and Domestic Violence, and children in the Foster Care system.
I have a strong work ethic and I am confident my ability to thrive under pressure will surpass your expectations. I
