I have a B.A. in English with an emphasis in professional communication and a M.A.T. in early childhood education from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
In college, I held many positions related to writing and editing.
I was a marketing communications intern at KMGAmerica, in Lancaster, S.C., which is now part of HUMANA, Inc. There I revamped and edited company correspondence, making it easier to read and understand, as well as more sensitive to customer needs.
I worked as a graduate assistant in university relations at Winthrop University, where I researched, wrote, and edited stories for the bimonthly university newsletter and annual report.
I have written many academic papers and edited co-workers' and colleagues' work for fun.
I am currently living in Germany with my soldier husband. Finding a job here has proven difficult, so I am trying a different approach though guru.com.
