My mission is to build bridges of communication throught transaltion in a way that is relevant, culturally resonant, and accurate.

I was born and raised in Mexico City. That is my culture, my roots, my native language. I understand the slang and nuisances. The specificity and cultural relevance of the humor. I am Mexican.
I was also raised in a partly American family. I was heavily influenced by American television, music, literature, pop art, and culture. My 10+ years living in Austin, Texas have only immersed me deeper into it. I speak proficient English. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre from The University of Texas at Austin. Through my acting and theatre studies, I've learned that language is never casual. Every word we speak has an intention, a purpose. The way we express ourselves is specific and individual. It's in our identity and the identity of our companies. This holds true to every document, text, and campaign I've ever translated. They all have a life of their own, a unique rhythm, mood, and cultural identity. I want my translations to accurately represent the original text and still speak honestly to the new reader. I want to build bridges of communication.
