About

I do a variety of digital illustration, using light and color to convey mood and story.

My name is Jessica Alley-Smith, I have a BFA in Media Arts and Animation, where I focused on comic coloring.
Now I do illustration and design, but my specialization is still in color!
I prep pieces for printing, or format for digital viewing. I help to enhance the storytelling and clarity by creating mood through color and lighting.
I do children's book illustrations and I have dabbled in a lot of other types of art, including watercolor, and printing.
I love it as much as telling stories through color!
