Origins

Growing up in a Marine Corps family, I learned about discipline, honor, and unwavering commitment early on. My parents, the embodiment of resilience, taught me that integrity wasn’t just a word but a way of life. Their values seeped into my bones, shaping the woman I would become.

The Spark of Passion

Fast forward to my college years. I stood at the crossroads, torn between two loves: HR and the legal world. The courtroom’s drama tugged at my soul, but it was the intricacies of human interactions, the delicate dance of hiring, nurturing, and empowering, that truly ignited my passion. And so, I chose the path of people.

The Birth of Lumina HR Lumina

Latin for “light.” It felt right. I envisioned a consultancy that would illuminate the darkest corners of organizational challenges. But this wouldn’t be just any HR firm; it would be a beacon of merit-based excellence.

A Leap of Faith

Armed with my bachelor’s degree, a SHRM-CP certification, and a heart full of determination, I took my first client.

So, here we stand—a female founder, a mother, a wife—still fueled by that Marine Corps fire. Lumina HR’s light reaches boardrooms, cubicles, and virtual spaces. And as I look ahead, I see constellations forming—the promise of brighter tomorrows.
