Hard-working and dedicated, I will work with you to create the product you desire. I obtained my Bachelor's in Journalism and Public Relations in May of 2014. While in school, I gained many skills through hands-on experience in marketing, public relations, and journalism.
My internship at Victoria Theatre Association, a small arts non-profit, gave me experience in writing copy for various materials for several different audiences. I also learned the basics of marketing campaigns and media relations.
During my last semester at university, I worked for my school's newspaper as the Assistant Digital Editor, where I managed several social media platforms and the online edition of the paper. I also created graphics for social media and ran campaigns and contests. Through various efforts, the online presence of the paper tripled by the end of the semester.
Since graduating, I worked at an SEO company where I learned the technical side of online marketing. Most of my time was spent running keywords to be used in online copy, managing social media pages, and creating professional presentations for the sales team.
Through my school and work experience, I have acquired the ability to create a great product. My social media and writing skills are excellent, and I am well versed in creating presentations and simple graphic design.
