I'm a wife, a mom, and a lifelong lover of stories. When I’m not reading or editing, you’ll likely find me immersed in a game, exploring nature, or working on my own writing. Creativity is at the heart of everything I do, and that passion carries into my work as a proofreader.

From a young age, I wasn’t just reading books—I was examining them. I noticed how sentences fit together, how paragraphs flowed, and yes, even the small typos others often missed. What began as instinct grew into skill, and now I use that skill to help authors polish their work and bring their stories to life.

As both a writer and an editor, I understand the heart, effort, and vulnerability poured into every manuscript. That’s why my approach is all about balance—refining and strengthening your writing while honoring your unique voice.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education and am a certified proofreader through Proofread Anywhere. My professional training, paired with years of hands-on experience in the literary world, allows me to combine technical precision with a deep appreciation for storytelling.

I've had the privilege of working closely with authors, including in my long-term role editing and proofreading the upcoming book series The Shadow of Cáelunárra—with the first book set to publish in Summer 2025. Whether the project is large or small, I bring the same level of care and attention to every page.

Work Terms

Availability:
I’m available Monday through Friday, 9 AM – 4 PM (Central Time). I respond to messages within 24 business hours. Weekend availability is limited.

Payment Terms:
I work through Guru’s SafePay system to ensure protection for both parties. For most projects, I require the agreed milestone to be fully funded before work begins. Final deliverables will be submitted once payment is released. Rush jobs may be accepted based on availability and may include an additional fee.

Communication:
All communication should remain on Guru for clarity and project tracking. I provide regular updates on progress and am happy to clarify any questions along the way. Open, respectful communication helps ensure the best results for your project.
