Professional and reliable electrical Engineer looking for collaboration in digital design, DSP and/or communications systems exciting projects.

Electrical Engineer with +10 years of experience in ASIC and FPGA digital design, communication systems and digital signal processing; deep understanding of wireless modem operation from data encoding to RF signal; expertise in PHY and DSP algorithms implementation and verification; broad experience in OFDM systems; RF integration and verification; complete support to the HW platform life cycle: from schematic inception phase to board bring-up, HW debugging and soldering. Familiar with measurement equipment in the lab. Used to Linux/Unix and Windows working environments.

Technologies: 3GPP wireless standards including GSM, GPRS, LTE and ITU-T G.9960 (G.hn).
Target Devices:
-DSP processor: C66x TI: RTOS, processes management and priorities.
-FPGA: Xilinx Virtex2, Virtex5, Kintex7 families. Full development cycle expertise from RTL to bit file, including: constraints creation, static timing analysis, critical path extraction and frequency optimization, cross clock domain design, third-party IP integration, behavioral simulation and ChipScope debugging.
-ASIC: Design, development and verification. Behavioral simulation using Cadence tools, integration of vendor IP cores, LINTing, netlist generation, area consumption extraction, gate-level simulation, SW embedded driver development and power supply network improvements.
-Languages: Verilog, System-verilog, VHDL, C, MATLAB/Simulink/System Generator, Assembly, Perl, XML, HTML, JavaScript.
-DSP algorithms: Floating-point and fixed-point reference models; bit-true RTL implementation based on the model. Algorithms include: Filters (FIR and IIR), frame correlation and synchronization, sampling clock error estimation and compensation, carrier frequency offset, channel response equalization, resampling by a rational factor, AGC, radio IQ impairments, MIMO wireless channel emulator, fractional signal delay and AWGN generator among others.
