My name is Jethro Stikfort and I am 40 years old. Until recently I worked as a Portal Administrator / Service Desk Employee at IZIT (ZorgNetOost). At this company I was responsible for the maintenance and customer support of The Care Portal. This portal is a web portal that provides a variety of digital services for health care grantors (family doctors) and health care providers (hospitals, home care, etc.).

Before I worked at ZorgNetOost I made one of my biggest wishes come true and travelled around the world. In between the travelling I worked twice as a Service Desk Employee at ITwoon (1,5 years in total). ITwoon is responsible for the IT of regional housing corporations using Citrix in combination with Thin-clients.
Also I have worked for 5 years as an IT Field Service Engineer at the Overijsselse Bibliotheek Dienst (Regional Library Services) and for 5 years at YACHT ICT, a big IT company where I worked as an IT-professional.

Besides all the IT-experiences I have also worked in the commercial sector and in Tourism. For Yacht ICT I have worked at the commercial backoffice and I also worked as a travel guide for youth holidays and as a host at Centro Oberhausen in Germany. I have good knowledge of the Dutch (native), German and English languages.

After my entrepreneurial diploma and a diploma in Tourism I have followed a lot of IT orientated courses and exams. Examples of this are the Certified Internet Webmaster certificate, different certificates of the MCSE-traject and the ITIL Foundation certificate in IT-Service Management. I am a very sporty person, creative and always positive.

At the moment I am also designing webshops based on OpenCart and also I am maintaining a website (http://jetensuus.reismee.nl) where you can find stories and photographs of almost everything I experienced during all the travelling I made.
