I breathe life into arcane topics, be it employee benefits, corporate finance, high-tech startups, or psychological studies.
Always a writer. Always listening, always asking, always curious, always writing things down.
Majored in English. Discovered I had an affinity for writing about business, economics, and science. Wrote about the work of Virginia Tech professors, many of them scientists, for Virginia Tech Magazine. Wrote about employee benefits, the health care system, and retirement plans for Employee Benefit News magazine. Also wrote some articles for banking and corporate finance publications. Wrote many ghostwritten articles for insurance executives and entrepreneurs.
To be the voice of "movers and shakers," and put polish on their thoughts and words, is a joy for me. To make arcane topics, such as the uses of life insurance or the psychology of retirement investing, come alive for an audience in 1,000 words or less, is the utmost to me, as a communicator.
Work Terms
My work terms are flexible. That may change in the future. As of now, I am available during business hours, Eastern Standard Time. I can even hold after-business hours, should that be needed. Weekend consultations are also a possibility.
